Aegis Pro privacy

Effective 10 October 2026. Updated 15 October 2026: saved OCO strategies stay on your computer too.

Aegis Pro is a browser extension: a trade panel and safety shield for the Vest Markets trade page. This page says what it reads, where that stays, and what it never does.

What it reads

On next.vestmarkets.com, and only there, the extension reads what the trade page already shows you:

  • the price
  • the order book
  • the chart’s bars
  • your open position
  • your account value and P&L
  • the limits of a Vest Capital account

It uses these to size a trade from the amount you choose to risk, to draw the stop and TPs on the chart, and to manage the stop after you enter.

Where it stays

Everything stays on your computer. The extension keeps your settings (your saved OCO strategies with them), the day’s tally and the state of an open trade in your browser’s storage:

  • for the Vest site, on the Vest trade page
  • for the extension’s own page, on the practice page

You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

The practice on alex2tick.com/aegis-pro/practice works the same way: its settings stay in your browser’s storage for alex2tick.com, and nothing about it is sent anywhere.

Your key, its signed pass and a random device ID are kept in the extension’s own storage. Clearing site data does not remove them. “Remove the key from this browser” on the key screen removes the key and its pass; the device ID stays, so the same browser keeps its place if you enter a key again, unless another browser has taken it meanwhile. Removing the extension removes all three. From version 0.9.32 the device ID (only the ID, never the key) is also kept in your browser’s storage for Vest’s site, as “aegis.device”, so a new copy of the extension counts as the same browser. Vest’s site can read it there; it stays after the extension is removed, until you clear Vest’s site data.

What it never does

  • It sends nothing about your trading to us or to anyone else. It has no analytics, no tracking and no advertising beyond the two links below. The only things it sends are your key and a random device ID, to check the key.
  • It does not sell or share any data.
  • It does not read your password or log in for you.
  • It does not run on any site other than next.vestmarkets.com.

Your key

The panel on Vest needs a key. The extension sends two things to alex2tick.com: your key, and a random device ID it made itself. It sends them when you enter the key, then once a day while the panel is in use, again within 30 minutes after a check that failed, and once a minute after two weeks without an answer. The answer is a signed pass that unlocks the panel. Nothing about your trading is sent. A key is for two browsers: a new one takes the place of one that has not checked in for a day, or of one in use up to 3 times a month. alex2tick.com keeps the device IDs in use, when each last checked in, and when one took the place of another in use (the last 20), to count them, until the licence is deleted. Practice with fake money needs no key.

Your claim for a key

To get a key you fill in the claim form on the Aegis Pro page. It asks for two things:

  • your X handle
  • an email address for your key

It also has an optional box: “Also email me when there’s a new, more advanced version”. It starts unticked.

This is stored in a private database (Supabase, in the United States). Only Alex2Tick reads it, to look at your claim on X and send your key. The database keeps a fingerprint of your key and a locked (encrypted) copy, so the same key can be sent to you again if you lose it. If your key cannot be sent at once, a notice of your claim, with the details above, is emailed to Alex2Tick’s own inbox through Google. Claims and licences are kept for as long as the licence exists. To have your details deleted, write through the contact page.

Your email gets your key and the tool’s own updates: a new download, a fix. News about new, more advanced versions only goes to you if you ticked the box. Every email can be stopped: reply STOP, or write through the contact page.

Under the panel there are two links:

  • Vest Markets, through Alex2Tick’s referral link, with a button that copies the code TICK
  • Traders Wealth Lounge’s Discord on Whop, an affiliate link

Both are hidden while a trade is open. Nothing is sent when they show. Clicking one opens that site in a new tab, like any link, and that site’s own privacy policy applies there.

Changes

If any of this changes, this page changes first, before the new version ships.
